We have been friends for 14 years and collaborators for 4. One Small Sentence is our third project – you can see the other two here and here.
beth is from a small town in Vermont, where she spends the week being the children’s librarian and the weekends recommending books at the local bookstore. She lives with her husband and son in an old house filled with books, yarn, records and Legos. The 3 dogs, 2 bunnies and the cat often provide the evening’s entertainment. Her camera is a constant companion and most days writing (or baking) is what brings her the most joy.
Andi Diehn works as an associate editor at Nomad Press and does the occasional book review for Kirkus. She also writes short stories, creative essays, and novels. Her three sons provide both material and distraction, and her husband has grown to accept the house will never be as clean as houses in magazines.

Andi! I stumbled upon your site through Facebook. Who knew that 2 girls from Sandwich Road who used to hold lemonade stands would both grow up to be writers living in the same state? Would love to connect again! Congrats on all your success! -Amy B. 🙂
WHAT?! This is crazy! I remember hanging out in your bedroom on Saturday mornings and dancing! I think to the Footloose soundtrack? Yikes!
